You can find us in downtown Port Dover at 301 Main St. across from Powell Park and the Lighthouse Theatre.
Our menu is diverse and constantly evolving to suit the needs and wants of our patrons. We seek to satisfy the meat eater as well as the vegetarian. Many gluten free options are available to those whose diets require it. Come out and have a taste of Jasmine's.

About Us
Jasmine Defilla and her mom Laurie run Jasmine's Foodery in Port Dover, Ontario. Both have worked in the restaurant industry starting at 14 yrs of age in Port Dover ....Laurie at the Norfolk Hotel in the 70's when it was The Tilt'n Hilton owned by Hilton and Ruth Yerex, and Jasmine started 7 years ago at Willie's in Port Dover, owned still by Don and Judy Wilson. Laurie and Jasmine both went away for a while and gained more experience in the industry. Laurie worked a popular Lebanese restaurant in Ottawa during university years and the mediterranean influence is reflected on Jasmine's Menu with Homous, Baba Ghanouj, Dolmathes, Falafel and Fattoush. Laurie taught Jasmine to make those, but Jasmine learned alot from her chef father, Werner, while growing up and seeing him cook at home, manage Horseshoe Resort north of Barrie and run their own cafe in Barrie Ontario, Paradise Cafe. Jasmine went away to learn her trade at Niagara College, worked Hemming's Broken Plate in Port Dover as well as David's Fine Dining. She then went north to Water's Edge on Lake Joseph in Muskoka and to Oliver and Bonacini's in Blue Mountain, Ontario each for a season.
Running a restaurant was not really on the radar for Laurie while studying to be a sommelier. She thought she would eventually be travelling as a wine agent, but she is very thankful the opportunity arose. She is having the time of her life as owner/ hostess in small town Ontario Canada. Jasmine was more than willing to step in as chef and exercise her culinary creativity.
Mother and daughter are enjoying introducing new and exotic dishes , tasty cheesecakes, some vegan fare, and offering some of the all time favorites including all day breakfast. It's a bit eclectic both in menu and decor. The word is spreading that Jasmine's is the place to eat in Port Dover.
